We submitted our offer on the townhome last night, and got an acceptance last night (wow, that was fast)! They are requiring that we have the loan all squared away in two weeks, and want to close in 30 days, wow wow! Another crazy thing is that this morning, after they accepted our offer, they recieved 2 more offers! That was close!
Im a little sad that we have to be done so quickly, I wanted to save for a couple months and close in November or December (I really want bunk beds, bedstands for us, and a leather sofa and love). With the date so close though, no saving! I am ready to be house poor though.
Anyway, now the really hard part begins. Loan, inspection, etc. Wish us luck!

Isn't it lovely? On non-shortsale homes things move so quickly once they start moving.
Unless, of course, you have a whole legal mystery battle to get to the bottom of. Grr. But at least it's still moving.
If you help us move, we'll help you!
Yay! Good luck!
it will be worth it!! I hope everything works out!
That's amazing, congrats! It's actually super lucky that you're able to do it this quickly. Pretty soon the interest rates are going to shoot up and it's going to make it way harder to own a home. Congrats, maybe we'll be able to come visit you in your new town home (James may get his masters at BYU in a couple years).
Miss you!
Congrats I am so excited for you! It looks gorgeous! It really is nice. If it makes you feel better. We have been married 10 yrs and just got a table and chairs set. Our kidds have nice furniture then us( our nightstand is one of those 3 leg tables with a table cloth) And we haven't bought a new couch in 9 years- straight hand me downs-- But I can promise you that no matter where you live or what you have those things aren't what makes your house feel like home. And at the end of the day you'll have your own home! That you CAN decorate and do WHATEVER you want to it, whenever you can or r ready. And it is gorgeous already!
