Inspection...kinda boring stuff....

We had the inspection yesterday on the house and I feel really good about it. Since it is a short sale the house is sold "as-is" and the bank wont do anything about it, just move onto the next offer. Here is the skinny: there are lots of small things like a screw missing here or a leaky sink drain or a $5 hose missing on the hot water heater. All of those Billy can fix in one afternoon and it should all be taken care of fast. Then there is the cracked counter top and window that we knew about, there is a small leak in the roof that is completely impossible to see with the naked eye (he said it might just be a nail that popped up, but hopefully we'll have an HOA soon to cover that expense) and the last big thing is the AFCI breakers in the sub panel in the basement are heating to 115'F without any ind of a load being put on them. I've called around because that's something we need done before moving in and it seems like its going to be about $300. And that's it!
Can I complain about how much every little expense adds up? I know this is just the beginning, but a few hundred here, a few hundred there... even $50 ends up being significant by the time you add it to the total tab! Can I say how much more fun it would be to spend the approx. $1,350 we've put into the house so far on furniture instead of boring inspections, drives, closing costs, etc?
Anyway, I'm excited and cant wait to move in. Looks like we'll probably close the 1st (which is less than 2 weeks away)! One question left:

Who's going to be around on July 2nd and wants to donate their time and talents to the building up (or at least moving) of my kingdom (or....home)?
