uuuuugh

Sometimes being a mom is hard. Sometimes it does come naturally and easily, but usually it is just hard. In fact, its the hardest thing I've ever done.
I realize that it is sooooo important, and ultimately the most incredibly rewarding thing i could do with my life, but it is hard to see it through temper-tantrums, the constant changing of dirty diapers, never-ending piles of laundry and dishes, and whiney voices. It is hard to find a lot of significance in the day to day things, but I guess that those are the same things that ultimately make the difference.
If only I could step back and see the whole picture, I might gain some perspective. I am sooooooo grateful for the gospel, it gives me little bits of perspective here and there. Without it, I dont think I could continue doing what I do everyday (Id probably send my kids to daycare, go back for RN licensing and start working). I love my kids, I just wish some days it were easier to like them.

Sorry about this post, Ill probably delete it later. I just needed a release!

Peaches and Dream

Well Stephanie had this on her blog and I thought I needed it too. But stephanie wrote the intro so well, I thought I should use her words: "This is an old clip of my sister Alana that I recorded over the summer. It is pretty good so I decided to share. It makes me wish I could multi-task so well".

Ava and Elayna

Avas best friend from down the street came over to play yesterday and she was in a cute white dress. So we added a veil, some shoes, and flowers and voila, she became a beautiful bride. Of course after elayna was in dress-up, ava had to dress up too. So she chose her favorite dress; the bell one that I made for her a few months ago. They had so much fun!

Senior pics

I was going through a bunch of boxes that still havent been unpacked since we moved to our apartment in december of 07 and I found both billys and my high school pictures. I enjoyed looking at them and told Billy that these are the bodies we should request when we are resurrected! Aren't we so cute?

Cams checkup

Well I took Cameron to the pediatrician yesterday for a well-check and these are his stats:

He weighs 16.1 pounds which puts him at less than the first percentile (0.23 to be exact).

He is 27.5 inches long which puts him in the 6th percentile.

So he is a small kid, just like ava. His iron was low though, and so we are giving him supplements to make sure that it wont interfere with his growth. The doctor did say that cams development is excellent (way ahead of schedule). We are so glad to have a happy healthy kids- what a blessing!

So maybe I wont get caught up...

But here is a few pictures of Cameron after he found a half-full pudding cup in the garbage. Oh yeah, and check out my cake page- I decided to make a blue cake just for fun, and use my own imagination.
