My Cam Man and house updates

First, the house. I am bitterly dissapointed to know that all 3 homes in American Fork that we have put offers on are no-go s. We were about $20,000 short, even though they we offered what was listed. I have been "soul searching" all night (couldnt sleep) and realized while all of them had 5 bedrooms, we dont NEED 5 bedrooms- it would have been nice. But we definately need 3 and I had been planning on a 2,000 sq. ft. home, but we dont loose a whole lot of other space if we look for a 1,700 three bedroom house. So thats what I am currently thinking we need to do. Anywho, its frustrating and confusing and all an emotional roller coster.

n a happier note: Here is my adorable litttle boy sitting on the desk while I looked at houses a few minutes ago. Isnt he such a cutie? He makes my life so much happier everyday. I get so much joy out of being his mother!

Short sales are tough stuff, you just have to keep looking and keep making offers. Good luck!

Good luck with the house hunt! I am sorry none of the houses you offered on went through...
Cam is a sweetie!

Yeah, that's why so many people warn us against short sales... I'm sure you must have a very tough skin to deal with that market.

Have you thought of condos or townhomes at all? Brit was totally against them at first, but really, it's a good, affordable first step. And most of them have a great community of young families.

Cam is super cute! Both your kids are beautiful. I wish I could meet Cam!

The housing situation seems to be causing grief for many, many people. I have a couple other friends in your situation, so you're not alone. Keep trying and I'm sure you'll find one! A three or four bedroom wouldn't be terrible.

Happy to find your blog! Sorry about the house situation. We just went through that here in Tulsa. Finally we just decided to continue to rent for another year. Hope you find what you're looking for!
