Projects, projects, projects..

Sooooo... before Cameron came I realized that there is little you can do to dress up a boy. There is no bows, painted nails, bracelets, etc. So, to make up for some of that, I made coordinating burps cloths, blanket, binkie clips, nursing cover, boppie cover, and car seat cover. A few people have asked what my car seat cover looks like- here you go!

Did i mention how much I LOVE this print? I could only by this fabric in small squares, but it was worth it to piece it together. It looks great!

The carseat cover was the most difficult sewing project I've ever undertaken. I might make one again (I keep getting complements and people want me to make one for them) but I wont ever do it without a pattern again. So find me a great contoured pattern and I'll make one for you.

Graduation

After several years of study, I finally graduated with my bachelors degree in family and social science. Yay!! On my hand you can kind of see my graduation ring that has been passed down from my grandmother, to my mother, and now to me! Billy and I are still waiting to go out on a date to celebrate...maybe this weekend? With Stephanie in Hawaii my babysitter is gone.

I hate seeing pictures of myself when I feel so big. So when you look at them, be kind and remember i just has a baby a few weeks before!

Baby Cameron

Cameron is the sweetest, most perfect baby in the world! He is so content and almost never cries! In fact, he will smile on demand, all you have to do is talk to him and smile and he does it right back! Sooooo cute! Here are a few pics of my handsome little man (and his dad too).

Okay, Okay, Okay... I'll start a blog...

After nearly everyone I know has created a blog (including my own technically challenged mother) I decided it was time to "jump off the cliff" and join!


With the weather really nasty (snowy, wet, and cold) last week, I tried to come up with some fun inside activities. So one day ava and I read a ton of books, cooked together, played with play-doh, and made a fort with the sofa, pillows, and blankets. I am so grateful for the most perfectly content son that just watches or sleeps!
